    BACKGROUND :

    • Ruppur Gram Panchayat is located in Bolpur, Birbhum district, West Bengal.

    The solar power system have been installed on the roof of the Gram Panchayat Office. It have a capacity of 4 kW and will be able to meet the electricity needs of the office except water pump and air conditioners. The system has 10 X 325 wt power solar panel & 4 X 150 amh battery back up.

    BENIFIT :

    • The solar power system will help to reduce the electricity bill of the Ruppur Gram Panchayat Office by up to 80%.
    • The system will also make the gram panchayat office more sustainable and environmentally friendly.
    • The system will provide a backup power supply in case of a power outage.
