Sirsha Gram Panchayat is a local administrative body situated under the Illambazar Development Block of Birbhum District, West Bengal. It encompasses 11 Sansad (village councils) and spans an area of 25 square kilometers. According to the 2011 Census, Sirsha Gram Panchayat has a population of 13,655, with a male-to-female ratio of 51:49.

BACKGROUND :
There is only one market place at Kharui Hat under Sirsha Gram Panchayat. Many people come here for marketting but there is no fresh and cheap fooding centre near Kharui Hat and Market. And people demanded this.
PURPOSE :
Buyers and sellers are beared long time so according to the demand of people Sirsha Gram Panchayat takes the decesion to construct a fresh and cheap canteen for all people.
DESCRIPTION :
According to the decesion of Gram sabha and General Body the Gram Panchayat choose the vest land and fund under PBG SFC. Gram Panchayet took the decesion to construct canteen (one room and verandah ) for tiffin lunch.
BENIFIT :
1. The canteen is running through the poor family.who was selected by GP. His economy develope.
2.Own fund of the GP incresed.
3.Public is getting fresh and cheap food easily. and GP fulfilled their demand.
FUTURE VISION :
Gram Pancahayat also preapared Action plan for 10. nos stall beside the canteen for economic development nearby public who will get the stall and also increase our own fund.
