    INTRODUCTION :

    The Children Parl‹ at ICDS centre at Gangrampur Moyra Pukur Par in Bipratikuri Grampanchyat under Labpur Dev.Block in Blrbhum is established in the yeai- of 2020-21 as a community playground for the local kids and children of Gangarampur and surrounding areas.

    BACKGROUND :

    It is government sponsored park  funded  under  15 ^  Finance Commission . The basic aim of the project for providing  playing  ground for  the local kids and saving ponds as sponge of nature against unwanted pond filling .

    PURPOSE :

    The park serves multitude purpose for the locality . As a heart of the locality , it provides the children a place for fun , development physical skill, building of social , emotional and cognitive skill . Above all , this is a place for new friends making space which in turn makes a child a social human being in long run of life .

    DESCRIPTION :

    This park is situated over the vast green land equipped with ponds and punctuated with many trees on the following land schedule Mouza- Kurumba , JL no. 58 ,Plot no- 1260.

    BENIFIT :

    The park cast huge benefit over the locality  . A children park may be meant for the kids but in real life it touches the all age group of people too in same pace . Children are benefited with healthy physical activities and emotional bonding with the  friends and nature . And parents of kids and passers by of park willfully  take part in several social activities of around the park . And the park becomes   saver of both good health and the every natural phenomena in it from the external encroachment .

    FUTURE VISION :

    The GP  is governed  with  the  thought  the park  will  be upgraded with more child friendly facilities and accessories so that children can taste more playful moment being in the park  . The  authority  is in vision  that  one day  the park in Gangrampur will be a place for healthy activities , a place of emotional caring , second home to the local people .

    CONCLUSION :

    Literarily this may be  an object of park for the other but this Children Park is a place of emotional bonding between the local people and the nature of the Gangrampur area . We believe that our elders of area used to get proud seeing their children are playing in the lap of nature and are still in touch of nature even onslaught of nature felling by the axe of rapid urbanization .
