    ABOUT THIS PANCHAYAT

    Amdole  Gram Panchayat is located  in the village of  Lambapara under  Murarai II  development block in the Rampurhat subdivision of Birbhum district in the  state of West Bengal. There are 13 villages namely Amdole, Lambapara, Kalahapur, Amritopur, Kanakpur, Narattampur, Harharia, Uttar Ramchandrapur, Khutkail , Harishpur, Bhimpur, Shibrampur, Purapara. The General Body Constitute of total 17nos  Gram Panchayat general member and 3 Panchayat Samity member. Total Population is near about 26750. Lambapara Prymari School  is located infront of the Gram Panchayat Office. Mostly people of this Panchayat are depending on farming for their livelyhood.

    INTRODUCTION :

    A Funeral house has been constructed in Amdole village. In which the spiritual activities of the people of the area are held in a proper manner.

    BACKGROUND :

    As there was no Funeral house in the area of Amdole village, people used to perform spiritual activities else where which was difficult for the people of the area.

    PURPOSE :

    As per Hindu rules, when a person dies, he is cremated, which was not the case in the area, but now a cremation house has been constructed to perform the rites of the deceased.

    DESCRIPTION :

    This Funeral house of Mdole village is built along the small nadir at the end of the village .

    BENIFIT :

    The construction of the Funeral house has given the people of the area a definite system of spiritual activities which was not there before. As a result, people do not have to go elsewhere to perform worldly activities.

    FUTURE VISION :

    It would be better to have a boundary wall planted with plants and watering system for the Funeral house is exposed.

    CONCLUSION :

    The construction of the Funeral house has given the people of the area a definite system of spiritual activities which was not there before. As a result, people do not have to go elsewhere to perform worldly activities.
