    About Block

    The Murarai-I Dev Block and the Office of the Executive Officer, Murarai-I Panchayat Samity located at Murarai, Birbhum and its the last assembly of the Assebly Constituency i.e 294 Murarai with a verity of beutiful people and culture.  In the East there is  Murarai-II Block, in the West  & North there are Jharkhand  State and  in the south there are Nalhati-I Block. 

    This Block comprises of 7(Seven) Gram Panchayats, namely Chatra, Dumurgram, Gorsha, Mohurapur, Murarai, Palsa and Rajgram,  with 43098 household as per SECC 2011.

    INTRODUCTION :

    Sadvab Mondap is a community hall concept in rural area. As in rural area no such community hall is there so this conept plays a vitalrole in rural life.

    BACKGROUND :

    In Dumurgram GP and Gorsha GP, there was no community hall for rural people. They suffer many problems in day to day family prograame.

    PURPOSE :

    All people can take this Sadvab Mondap for their Family Prograame with a minimum charge and its so useful.

    DESCRIPTION :

    Sadvab Mondap consist of a big size Hall for programme and 4 Rooms for guest and 2 Nos Toilet and Kitchen also and is well connected to road.

    BENIFIT :

    Sadvap Mondap is helpful for people of Dumurgram and Gorsha Gp for their family programme or conferance programme. Electricity , and Drinking water facility is also there for running the Hall.

    FUTURE VISION :

    This type of Sadvab Mondap will be there in all GP.

    CONCLUSION :

    This is not a Hall but also a good engineering structural design and it also shows the beuty of the Hall.
