Location :- It is bounded by Batikar Gram Panchayat on the East , Chanpai Gram Panchatat on the West , Bhurkuna Gram Panchayat on the North and Paduma Gram Panchayat on the South . Total area of the pasnchayat is about 25 sqkm approx . 

Gram Sansad:- There are 13 Gram Sansad in total in this Gram Panchayat.

Rivers:- Bakreswar is one of the Major Rivers on the North side of the Gram Panchayat area.

Family:- The total number of Families in Gram Panchayat is 4843. Amo ng them,995 Cast Families,182 Tribel Families,1665 Hindu Families,3115 (Minority and Christion Families) and 63 Other Families.

Population:- According to the Census of 2011, the total Population of Panchayat is 19034 (Males 9392 and Females 9642).

Educational Institution:- There are 26 Angawadi Centres, 13 Primary Schools, 2 Sishu Siksha Kendras, 1 MSK,3 High  School,1 Govt. Approved Madrasa and 1 Private School.

Health Centre:- There are 3 Sub Health Centre in the Gram Panchayat Area.

Livelihood:- The main livelihood of people living in Sahapur Gram Panchayat area is Agriculture. According to the 2011 Census,80% of people are associted with Agriculture. Also several people are involved in Business,Employment,Fisheries,Animal Husbandry,Small scle and Cottage Industries.

Main Major Agriculture Crops:- Paddy,Wheat,Mustered and Vegetales are among the Major Staple Crops in the area.Rice is cultivated as a cash crop.

Self- help Group:- There are 440 Self-help group in this Gram Panchayat area.

Place of Interest:- Dharmatala at Maheshwar Chanditala and Sija Kaddang and President Award Winning Atmasamman Sangha,one of the best Self-reliant Groups in India in 2016,are among the places of interest in the Gram Panchayat area.
