Gorsha Gram Panchayat is located at Dalimba village under Murarai-I Dev. Block.It consist of 13 number of villages and sansad 16 nos and 2 nos Panchayat Samity, It is sorrounded by 70 sqkm area.Total Population of the GP is 23499 The ratio of male and female population is 50.98:49.02 (2011 census) Total number of family -5101, total number od Primary school 14, SSK-03, MSK-1 Uper Primary School 02, ICDS 32, Sub-Centre 03, SHG- 530, Madrasa 02, Hand pump 253, Solar Pump 17. The Villagers of this GP mainly depend on agriculture and aslo many small cottage industries developed here like Bidi, Bakkery, Bamboo etc. The Bansloi river run through some parts of this GP area. The natural environment of the Panchayat is so beautiful.

BACKGROUND :
Bhabanipur villagers were suffering from drinking water problem.Due to the lack of electricity system,Gorsha Gram Panchayat decided to install a solar pump at this village.
PURPOSE :
Supply of pure drinking water to the villagers using non conventional energy. Drinking water will be available and the villegers will be benefited.
DESCRIPTION :
One HP solar pump has been installed on the bank of Palash Patil pond at Bhabanipur under Gorsha GP. Drinking water is supplying with pipe line.
BENIFIT :
There are 125 families are being benefited with this scheme. By using the non conventional energy, an echo friendly environmental scheme is implemented.
FUTURE VISION :
Gorsha Gram Panchayat is eager to install more such type of schemes using non-conventional energy.
CONCLUSION :
The Panchayat may step forward if we can use such type of non-conventional energy.
