    About Gram Panchayat

    Nandigram Gram Panchayat is located  in the village of Kathia under  Murarai II  development block in the Rampurhat subdivision of Birbhum district in the  state of West Bengal. There are 18 villages namely Kathia, Edrakpur, Patagachhi, Mukhlishpur, Nawda, Bhogarpara, Baliadanga, Jalalpur, Jankinagar, Majhiara, Natungram, Ganeshpur, Nandigram, Ramchandrapur, Kandha, Arail, Gopnandigram, Jagannathpur. The General Body Constitute of total 17nos  Gram Panchayat general member and 3 Panchayat Samity member. Total Population is near about 27099. Kathia-Edrakpur Sub-centre is located infront of the Gram Panchayat Office. Mostly people of this Panchayet are depending on farming for their livelyhood.
